Yesterday at Mother's Day Out one of the kids in my class bit one of the other kids. Not just a little nibble no a major bite. Teeth marks and a puncture. It was the third time this one kid has bit in class. You see it coming but there is no way to stop it unless you are just standing right there.
Another big surprise yesterday was in Astronomy lab I actually understood the lab. Well sort of. It went pretty good mainly because of the guys who helped me, but I would have been able to figure this one out on my own at least. That's a big step.
Fiction writing was pretty awesome yesterday. We spent most the class laughing about the R rated story that was turned in and we were able to move pass the laughing and blushing and actually critique the story as a piece of art. A bit awkward to have a story like that in class at a Christian school but not so bad. The prof's story was really intriguing and made me think about life after earth. He brought up the question about what happens to us when we die and it was a great reminder to think about that and think about the place being prepared for us. It also brought up thoughts about what happens when we are the ones left here and others move on. How do you deal with death? What is considered normal reactions to death and what is considered crazy?
Matt, Makenzie and I are getting pictures made today. We were going to do them the Friday before her birthday and then the photographer we like wasn't working and then we were going to do them the Saturday after her birthday, but she was covered in the remnants of her hives. It looked like someone had beaten her up. So I moved the pics to today, yet they are not going to be with our favorite photographer because she was transfered. I hope the lady we use today is good.
